Diary: Purple heather walk

Last week it was my birthday! I spent the best day with my parents, walking and taking pictures of the breathtakingly gorgeous purple heather up on Bamford Egde. We met in a cafe and they presented me with a new camera. I did not expect this. Just to clarify, my Dad (check out his incredible photos here) owned the body already but he bought a new lens and gave it to me as a gift. So we set out and took a few pictures with this new camera (a Fujifilm XE1 in case you wondered). I’m still very much a learner when not taking food shots. But I’m happy with a few; here they are!

Ahh that's such a lovely comment. I'm so glad you feel a connection with my pictures. Still really scary posting anything other than food at the mo! X

Excellent work for first time out and all hand-held too. Keep going with that camera, get to know it and it will deliver! Lovely shots. And blog 🙂
